Soiree Of The Week: PBS Screening Party

The brief panel after the PBS screening, which airs October 11, 12 and 13

Tonight I found myself at a screening event for the new PBS series called “God In America” held at DC’s Newseum. The topic seemed better suited for my Digital Disciple blog, so you can find the scoop over there.

One thing I did learn: there is  subculture in Washington — that of the Event Party Crashers (as opposed to specializing in just weddings). One guest at tonight’s screening freely admitted to working the State Department by day, and party crashing by night.

I prefer to earn my invitations in more legit way – if you call Twitter legit (and I do).
