Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous

In DC Celebrity News This Week:

1) I met Obama’s Drug Czar, Gil Kerlikowske. He used to be the chairman of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids. Great guy. He gave us a presentation on their media outreach, including a “heat map” for the Above the Influence campaign. It’s an interactive map for kids to share what their positive influences are – listed by zip code.

2) Craig Newmark, of the famed Craigslist mentioned me on Twitter. Thanks, Craig! (I first met him when he came to speak at a brown bag session at NPR last fall).

3) I’m hoping to visit Ted Kennedy’s home in the snazzy Kalorama neighborhood. In case you want to snap a picture, it’s at 2416 Tracy Place, and its on the market for sale. But I don’t get that kind of paycheck. That’s why it’s called a NON-profit.
